Great pants not so great cargo pockets

By juenger1701

from Dickinson ND

About Me Casual Dresser

Verified Buyer

Pros

  • Comfortable
  • Durable

Cons

  • Bulky

Best Uses

  • Casual Wear
  • Wear To Work

COMMENTS:

Overall good fit but the lack of any pleating on the cargo pockets means if you carry anything rigid like a hardcover notebook, radio or handheld the upper legs can become very tight

Pockets!! Comfortable!

By Pollo

from Milpitas, CA

About Me Casual Dresser

Verified Buyer

Pros

  • Comfortable
  • Durable
  • Good Fit
  • Pockets!
  • Stylish

Cons

    Best Uses

    • Casual Wear
    • Wear To Work

    COMMENTS:

Pockets are great. I'm an electrician and putting my tools in my pockets with regular jeans was horrible, easier to lose them too. With these I just pocket the essential tools I need, saves me from wearing tool bags also sometimes.

    Warm...only wear in the winter

    By Sparky

    Pros

    • Comfortable
    • Durable
    • Good Fit

    Cons

    • Bulky
    • Heavy

    Best Uses

    • Wear To Work

    COMMENTS:

I am a track welder for the railroad so I give them a work out. I always burn holes through the pant legs from sparks. I'm sure for carpentry and yard work they would last for a while if you could wear them long enough. I sweat in these pants so I only use them in the winter. I'm not over weight so no it's not just me! If you kneel down in them and your calf and hamstring touch it's like wrapping yourself in a blanket during the summer. If you want durability and to trim water weight for an upcoming fight these would be great!

    Tough enough for Welders

    By Steves Fabrication

    Pros

    • Comfortable
    • Durable
    • Good Fit

    Cons

      Best Uses

      • Wear To Work
      • Welding Wear

      COMMENTS:

I work as a welder/fabricator and typically I wear Cowboy Cut Jeans as they typically wear out well. I purchased the firehose pants and wow my Cowboy cut days are done. These fire hose pants don't burn, melt or wear out fast either. I can easily put a phone or tablet in the cargo pocket and weld out of position all day and not worry about anything getting damaged.

Well made and comfortable pants. I have a couple and would buy more, if you get rid of the kid-size zipper.
