I bought four of these rope chinces and keep them in my wives truck. She is always hauling lumber or furniture and isn't the best at tieing knots. Now when she moves stuff in her truck, I don't get nervous about her having to try to tie a knot that won't slip. And they really are time savers when it comes to securing a load. Thanks for carrying these fantastic little items Duluth.

        Rope cinch

        By Darkman's Shadow

        from Grapevine, Texas

        Pros

        • Large And Easy To Handle
        • Simple operation

        Cons

        • Larger than I expected

        Best Uses

        • Camping
        • Tying Bundles Together
        • Tying Items To Car Roof

I ordered 4 of these thinking they were small and would be easy to use in my survival kit for help setting up a shelter in an emergency. They arrived yesterday and I found that they are relatively large about 3 inches long, and 1.5-2 inches in diameter. I have not measured them for exact dimensions. However, these appear to be able to handle ropes and cords down to 1/8 inch diameter up to 1 inch diameter. They could be useful in tying tent guy ropes, tying and adjusting tightness of items placed on the roof of a car, or otherwise tying up items that need not shift in place. I have them in my car so that I can put them to use when needed either in an emergency or just plain every day usage.

Great tool for tying down loads on the pickup or trailer.
        Works as advertised,
Would be better if the plastic material it is made from was a little rougher so i could grip it better with gloves on

I received 3 of the Super Rope Cinch as Christmas gifts. I then purchased another 6 pcs to give to my friends. The inventor of this item should be commended for solving a big everyday problem. I never have to tie or untie a know again.
