Great winter working jacket

About Me Environmentalist

Pros

  • Durable
  • Good Fit
  • Versatile
  • Windproof

Cons

    Best Uses

    • Casual Wear
    • Freezing Conditions

    COMMENTS:

The first time I wore this, it was an extremely cold day, working outside in an exposed area, with strong windchill that took temps down to zero. I had a couple of lightweight layers underneath, and I had brought a parka, but realized that the shirt would keep me warm enough on its own. The outer shell of this shirt is a tight woven cotton that is remarkably wind resistant. As long as you wear layers underneath, it is as effective as a coat, and allows greater freedom of movement. Another home run for Duluth, purveyor of the most practical work clothing you can buy.

      COMMENTS:

Always wanted one of these. Then they went on sale. I read all the reviews about how it needs pockets. I thought,if it had pockets that would just make it another jacket. So I bought it, after putting it on the first thing I did was to try and put my hands in the pockets! Lol! It's a great throw on and take the dog out kind of shirt. It's well made as all Duluth products are. It's warm enough, it has a inside pocket not very deep but it works. You can wear it anywhere but if it's really cold bring some gloves. I'm not giving it back and I would recommend it to a friend.
