    COMMENTS:

I am a woman, almost 6 foot, long arms, have difficulties finding tall clothes for women that are well-made. And I like the outdoors. I ordered stuff from Duluth for my much taller husband for years before I decided to take the plunge. Duluth has started to get some good stuff for women--pants with 35 inseam, but for shirts I have to look at the men's. This one is a beauty, lovely powder blue, well-made, ventilated. I usually get Duluth's Large Men's size. Love the gusseted arms, attention to detail. I recall reading a positive review in a magazine about this shirt compared to others with repellents in the fabric. I have not tested that aspect yet, but I am glad I got it on sale in prep for next summer.

        Michigan Black Fly Season Hero

          COMMENTS:

I bought this product like many of the others I was skeptical of it's claim. I spent a weekend working outside in Michigan's Black Fly season and it kept the flys and skeeters off the shirt. I have washed it less than ten times and it still works great.

Only one issue. It only works in areas the shirt overs, your upper body. Not your neck, not your legs, not your hands, not anywhere near your head. The bugs couldn't bite through the firehose pants, but not I have to buy the hat.

            COMMENTS:

I wore this shirt for a day out camping next to a popular fishing lake last weekend. The bugs weren't too bad - biting mosquitos weren't out yet and fly populations were low. But lots of damselflys in the meadows near the lake. I had one land on my sleeve and stay for 3 or 4 minutes with no concern. It finally flew off after getting bored, I guess, so I'm not sure of the effectiveness of the treatment. But nothing else bothered me either. More time will tell as the mosquito populations come on around home and in the woods.
