      Not the greatest

For this type of fabric the cargo pockets were too heavy. I have a pair that are not cargo and they are great. Additionally, there is a zipper on the cargo pockets which, if you used it or it came unzipped for any reason could spill the pocket contents.

As a word to DULUTH (and all other sellers) I am a 31 inseam not 30 not 32, 31. The 30 is too short and the 32 is waay to long. If you go from 29 to 30 to32 why did you leave out 31.

Nice pants. They're good for work in, and classy enough to wear to town.

                        Excellent hot weather work pants

                            Best Uses

Excellent work pants. THESE ARE THE BEST PANTS I'VE FOUND FOR DOING IRRIGATION SERVICE IN THE HOT WEATHER OR FOR ANY OTHER ACTIVITY WHERE YOU'RE LIKELY TO GET WET. I also like them for regular work pants when I'm doing landscaping, etc. They could be cut just a bit more generously and I wouldn't mind but this is not a big thing at all. They're roomy enough to crouch down working on stuff all day.

Also I enjoy sometimes just sloshing them around in some soapy water when I get home and then rinsing them twice and hanging them outside on the patio overnite. Ready to wear the next morning, so really I could get away doing irrigation service 6 days a week with only one pair of these if I wanted to.

Actually I'd rather have a couple more pair, one to use and one to stash in my emergency bag. This winter I'll try the ones with the lining.

As others have noted, the belt that comes with them is frankly really inadequate. Why not send the 1" work belt from the Duluth website instead of that wimpy little thing? Or how about give folks a choice with $10 off a web belt with the purchase of these pants? (Or make the belt loops just a bit more accommodating in the next production run, so I can use my regular 1 1/4" web belt?)

I'll say six stars when the belt situation gets fixed.

Took the pants on a fishing/hiking/camping trip. The place I go is very hot and humid and there are lots of mosquitos hanging around. I wore the pants the entire time I was at the creek and I felt cool and protected throughout the day. I am very happy with the purchase. I'm actually going to buy a second pair.

Sizing tip: I usually wear a size 38 pants and I bought the XL and it fit great.

The dry on the fly pants from the website look heavy and hot. They are not. In the hot and humid weather of Florida, these pants are comfortable and much cooler than cotton shorts. Then when going to a restaurant, where the air conditioning is very strong, these pants are warmer to keep comfortable without to cool, again much better than cotton shorts. With the cargo pants, think how many gadgets that can be held without the pants dropping, a lot!
