    COMMENTS:

I bought two of these for our boundry waters canoe trip with my son L and 2XL. I bought them not thinking to size them up for gear underneath but it was not an issue. We were on a 5 day and 38 mile adventure in May. The first two days were pretty solid rain and cold 40s with a 15mph wind. These held up great as rain and wind breaks. We wore layers in case of weather and with a t-shirt sweat shirt life jacket and this we were warm through the coldest and warmest days. We shed them in the seventies but put them on every morning to keep warm. Pockets were water tight from the outside and easily accessible. This held up well and we will be using them on all future rainy campouts. The hoods fit well and were not restricting at all. We had gear problems but not with these.

      COMMENTS:

I usually wear a large in Duluth shirts but this large is a little tight in the chest. Not enough to send it back though. Haven't used it yet, but it seems to be well made.

      COMMENTS:

I really like this jacket and have no idea why people are saying it's loud. It is way more quiet than my Patagonia Gortex. I have a tall torso, so I wish it were 1 - 2 inches longer. It also kind of puckers when rain comes. I am active and still don't feel any leaks.

        COMMENTS:

I cannot say enough about this jacket. I work in the construction industry, rain or shine I am outside and this coat never fails. It's durable enough to last and light weight enough to wear much of the year. My only complaint is the Velcro straps on the sleeves are super stiff to the point they pull away and come undone during normal wear.

          COMMENTS:

I got this to use as rain gear, but decided to try it out on my moose hunting trip. I used it for two week ends in solid alaskan down pour, and did't leak a drop. It is kinda loud for hunting gear, but that is not its intended porpoise. I have good quiet gear for that, I just wanted to check it out. It works out standing.
