COMMENTS:

I have had no issues with this sweater. In fact I really like this sweater. I am a stagehand and we all love our hoodies. Up until yesterday I had nothing to complain about this piece, but I slowly found out what water resistant means. I was loading in for an event in the park while there the sky was falling on us. I was confident that what I was wearing would protect me from the rain with no issue however, after about an hour of pushing boxes and walking around in the rain I was feeling wet on my back and shoulders. I was very upset and felt that this expensive sweater just let me down. I knew that it was not waterproof but among the cold and being totally soaked from head to toe it made me even more upset being cold and wet for many hours after. Beyond that experience, I have enjoyed the feel and look of the Kamishak. It is warm and keeps me dry for most of the weather I work in.

        COMMENTS:

A lightweight jacket type garment: (think warmup). Like all Duluth products it is very well made but also very expensive. After donning the jacket and a pair of Kamishak midlayer pants I stepped outside on a 20 degree December night with a 40 MPH Wyoming wind. I was surprisingly comfortable, warm and well protected from the wind.
It is a very attractive jacket with a secure zippered pocket in addition to the usual glove pockets. Nice breathability. Adapts from windy, cold outside conditions to indoor warmth.
My only criticism (other than the price-- yikes wait for a sale) is that there is no drawstring for the hood. The zipper closes the hood around the face fairly well so maybe you don't need one..
This jacket is definitely part of my go to wardrobe for skiing, ice fishing or any outdoor activity. I will purchase as a gift for family.
I would have given five stars except it is a little overpriced.
