COMMENTS:

Too Bad that its been Discontinued ... I would buy this again.

Not really a coat, its really more of a nice tough jacket or shell. Use it to dress in Layers, usually put on a fleece and then a sweater on underneath it. Size runs a bit large, but then if you put on some warm clothes under it, fills out nicely without binding or bunching. Material is thick enough to block most wind and keeps the rain off, tough enough to survive many trips though thorns and briers. It weighs less that it looks like it should.

Zippers and Buttons work well. I have not had any issues with those yet. Bought mine in Fall-2016 and wore it all winter. Flip-up collar is nice to have when its windy. Having multiple pockets, both inside and out, is incredibly useful. Its great to have when tromping through a field with tools or extra ammunition. For Midwest Winters this coat works great.

As stated above, dress in layers and this works great as a shell for a Cold-Weather coat setup; I think this would have sold better in normal production if they would have included a zip-out removable liner with it.

* Duluth, if your listening, you should bring this back (maybe as a lighter-weight Fire-Hose coat) with a zip-out removable quilted liner.

Awesome Product, too bad to see it go away.

A nice jacket and warm. The cuffs seam a little light weight but I do like and would recommend to anyone. Got mine on sale and it makes it even better. Plenty of pockets

    COMMENTS:

I like tons of pockets, especially when traveling. This coat has more pockets than most and almost all of them are actually useful. There are two giant pockets in the front that easily hold my 8 inch tablet in one side and Beretta 92 in the other (don't take your Beretta when flying - even if it's just a BB gun replica like mine). As a coat it isn't great. It doesn't really keep me warm much at all but I don't care. I put something that does keep me warm on underneath it and fill up all those pockets!

      COMMENTS:

This is a wonderful jacket. With a plethora of pockets, there is always somewhere to put that extra something one happens to take with oneself. This coat is durable, and keeps me comfortable, despite the powerful winds out on the Kansas plains. I highly recommend this product.

Just What I Was Looking For

        COMMENTS:

I used to love the OD green surplus Army field jackets back in the day but they are getting difficult to find. I was very pleased when I found this coat and like it so much I bought a second one in tan. It's just the right weight for winter weather in North Texas. I can wear it open on cool days and zipped/snapped up on cold or windy days. The snaps on the sleeve cuffs are perfect and I like the additional length and cinch for the waist. I love all the pockets inside and out and the fact this coat is machine washable is another big plus. The fabric is not waterproof so this might not be the best choice in a storm but it works acceptably well in light rain or drizzle. In a heavy rain I wear a light rain jacket over it. This has become my favorite cool weather coat.
