Socks slipped around on foot. Had to wash them first then they fit great I am happy with them. I will buy more later.

These are nice thick socks that provide plenty of cushion.
I also bought a couple pair of Duluth Trading's "Heavyweight Coolmax Socks." These socks are a nice cheaper alternative to the "Coolmax Socks" however these socks do not come up the ankle as high. They still should be OK to wear with a 8" or 9" work boot though.
I wear a shoe size 13. My experience in buying socks at other places is that when I buy socks according to my size I end up with the heel of the sock about at my ankle so I ordered size large instead of XL and the the fit is very comfortable which is why I listed these as "feels too big".
Other than than the aforementioned Heavyweight Coolmax Socks" these are the best socks I have ever owned.

These socks are great. Best work socks I own. Pricey, but worth every penny. I also gave some to my son. He wears them often. They have become his prefered choice.

Please come up with a version of the "Socks Pack" intended for hot weather wear. Guys who work outside all year round face the deep cold of winter AND the crushing heat of summer. Why is it that cold gets so much more attention? Most guys I know would tell you that they'll take temps in the teens over temps in the nineties any day, yet no one is producing hot weather clothing (especially socks) for tradesmen.
These are excellent socks at a price that allows you to wear them everyday (as long as it is below 60 degrees outside).
