Santa had a fleece-like ball cap for years that was embroidered with "Ho Ho Ho" (and patched more than once or twice), until about 3 years ago, when it went missing (we still think Mrs. Claus got rid of it during spring cleaning). Ever since, four of us elves have been diligently searching for a replacement. We we're so happy to find this cap, even if it's not embroidered, it is high enough quality to get embroidered if Santa wants to be that fancy. All in all we four are back on the Nice List. WooHoo!

I first purchased this hat a couple years ago for myself in the smaller size - it was almost too small in the "come" area for my small head. I purchased it this year as a gift and ordered the larger size. It was more true to size of a standard ball cap rather than XL/XXL. The recipient said he wore it, so the gift was acceptable.

I wore this to my families' homes and they all thought it was great. It is made out of the fireman's hose material so should hold up very well. The white ball on the end is very well made and should hold up well. The white ball does take some getting used to because it flops around some.

Great value, and wonder of wonders, TRUE TO SIZE! That is so rare in an inexpensive hat. I usually have to pay five times as much to get a hat that fits. Really turns heads at the mall, too. I wore it the whole Christmas season and got lots of compliments from total strangers. Next year I'll be buying them for my whole family!
