Roller looks very pretty, but I haven't been able to make a successful log yet. (It took several days and extra hands to assemble.) I'm not giving up though. Reusing newspaper is important to me.

Assembly was OK. However making a log is problematic at best. Per directions, the process is laborious and time consuming at best. Wetting the ends of each sheet of paper while making a log requires a water source. Keeping the log roll tight while adding additional sheets is a three handed task. Lastly, having to remove wire ties from the fireplace after burning scatters ashes and requires clean-up!
Don't buy this thing!

This roller works fine. I am using it to roll brown paper bags. I start with newspaper then add the brown bags.

The picture makes it look a lot better than it really is. You can make a log out of newspaper but it's too complicated and time-consuming.

I ordered this as a gift and was very disappointed with the quality, construction and just about everything else with this product. It is flimsy, the pieces did not fit together, and I could not imagine it rolling anything effectively. It is not the quality I would expect from Duluth and I was embarrassed to give it as a gift.

The product performs OK - Not quite up to my expectations. If you roll the paper too tight, it is hard to slide it off of the center bar. I was hoping to use the rolled paper as a fire starter. I had to add loose paper and kindling anyway.
It looks good next to the fire place.

This log roller was very poorly made, one of the pieces did not fit into it's hole. It fell apart when I tried to roll a log. I was very dissadpointed, usually all products I have ordered from your company have been excellent. No problems. We were shocked at the flimsy quality of this item. I can't believe I have to pay to ship this back to you, you should be paying me for the time I wasted trying to use the dang thing.!

husband loved the machine, but the bar going down the middle that you wrap the papers over bent around with the newspapers. Not worth the [$]

The instructions were poor and were not helpful. Plus we were unable to roll a tight roll. A bit disappointing.
