I work in a greenhouse. It does soak up the sweat. I have a small head so I wish it would come in a smaller size or there was a way to tighten the band. I will not purchase another because of this.

perhaps the material itself is "slick",the only way I could get this to
stay as a headband would be to bobby pin it. I have other buff type poly headbands from a different company,they will eventually slide off
but they feel a little bigger,not as tight

I planned to only use this to 'help' my short hair after taking my motorcycle helmet off. But it's great for many more purposes than that--gardening, walking, keeping the heat off my forehead, or just plain extra zing. It's the width that looks fine even on short hair.
