My husband informed me that this hat was the same one that Elmer Fudd used to wear. I'll have to say it speaks well of his taste. The hat is comfortable and crushable- making it good for commuting and travel. The feature of the band pulling down to cover the ears is a neat little trick. I ordered the large and wear a 7 3/8 size; it fit perfectly with some leeway. I have gotten lots of comments about the hat as well- from teenagers liking the hat to people I have never met before in the store who express their admiration. It's become my favorite winter hat!

It is rare to find a wool hat lined in anything other that polyester fleece, which does not breathe. i wear wool everything to work outside all day in all weather. this hat looks cool, so my clients think i am hip, as well works perfectly to block the sun and keep me warm on cold days. i wore the hot pink one to all my holiday parties, and the chocolate brown one to work.

When I saw the Stormy Kromer Cap in the catalog and and noted that it was available in the raspberry color, my first thought was that my sister-in- law would probably wear it. After my husband concurred, I decided to order it for her for Christmas. I was unsure about the sizing. When it arrived and I learned that a large was a 7 1/4, I was concerned. Watching her open the hat, awing at the color, and finding it to be the perfect size, was purely delightful. I am sure that it became an instant favorite in her wardrobe of hats and scarves.

The women's Stormy Kromer hat was nicely made, but ran really small. I wear a true 7 1/4 in hats, and that size in this hat was so tight it constricted my head, hurt my hair, and left an indented line across my forehead after a 60-second try-on. And no, I don't wear "big hair". I bumped up to the XL and it's a good fit, and not too loose.
