Cheap Mostly Plastic Knife From China

              COMMENTS:

I got this knife and the first thing I noticed was a big "Made In China" sticker on the outside of the box. The description does say that this knife is imported, while technically true, it is a bit misleading. The knife itself feels pretty light and is cheaply made, a lot of it is made out of plastic. It is also difficult to open with only one hand as you need to hold down the lock button while opening the blade at the same time.

Spring in the lock broke after about 3 uses. It's a Buck knife and nice and sharp but broke really quick.

                Broke When Dropped

                  COMMENTS:

I liked this knife except for a couple things. The clip gets caught easily on the seam of your pocket, which makes it almost impossible at times to retrieve with one hand. If you are wearing firehose pants you cannot fully clip the knife into your pocket without the screws on the clip making retreival almost impossible. I got used to this after awhile and just made sure not to push the knife all the way into my pocket. But what made me even more mad was when I dropped this knife at work on a concrete floor and the spring that engages the blade locking mechanism broke. This basically made the knife useless. I could no longer lock the blade in place and was disappointed in the cheapness of this mechanism, great when it worked, but no easy way to fix after dropped on concrete.
