  • Lightweight
  • Opens One-Handed
  • Sharp Blade

Cons

    Best Uses

    • Daily Use Stuff... Cuttin' Twine 'n' Such
    • Opening Boxes From Duluth Trading Co.

    COMMENTS:

Bought this little guy on a lark while at the store in Port Washington one day. I'd lost my previous pocket knife some time back and needed a new one, thought this little fellow looked fun. Blades are nice and sharp, it's functional, has a unique look, and it's great for opening the boxes that arrive at my house from Duluth Trading!

    Disappointing

    COMMENTS:

Pretty small. Blade seems sharp but how well it will hold an edge is debatable. Like others have said, can't do much with it. No apple slicing or real cutting with it. Kinda expensive for the size and quality.

            COMMENTS:

I got this knife as a bonus for ordering something else from Duluth, so I'm not really upset that it's not that good. If there were an option for half-star increments, I would have given this knife 2.5 stars.

            The good:
            a) I like the shape of the "razor" blade, it's great for opening boxes and packages, or cutting string, etc.
            b) It seems well made, but I don't carry or use it often.

            The bad:
            a) It's pretty small, making it difficult to use well.
            b) For something that's pretty small, it sure carries badly in your pocket. (It's oddly shaped, and "thick".)
            c) The "regular" style blade is pretty much useless. Too small to slice an apple or anything like that. The "opening hole" doesn't work, at all.
            d) You can't open the "razor" blade on the edge of your pocket as the copy suggests. Believe me, I've tried. A lot.

In the end, you'd probably be better served with a small Swiss Army type knife. Just as, if not more, functional, and it would have more tools you can use.
