Canvas Duffel

Great bag for traveling...
Very durable.

I tried several bags for the gym. They were either not big enough to carry my stuff or too big to fit into a locker. I can carry shoes, exercise clothes, clean underwear, toiletries and a towel with this bag, and it still fits in a locker. I used to have to dig around to find little things, but the outside pockets in this allow me to find them quickly. I love the color and look of this bag.

Friends recommended Duluth Trading Company bags to me, so I bought the canvas duffle for for an overnight trip to NYC. It's a great bag--much better that the one I already owned. Good size and easy to carry. I particularly like the longer handles.

My only advice is to make an oil cloth duffle. I'd like the same bag in a water resistant/proof version.

I have several of Duluths tote bags and are very satisfied with them. All are very sturdy including the duffle. My only complaint is that the color stated was red but the bag is actually a burgandy color. Was disappointed that the color was not actually red as advertised.

This oil cloth business tote is well made, sturdy and durable, will last a long time. However, it is very heavy, and loaded with a small PC or an i-Pad, etc., it would be VERY heavy. Good hand straps and a good over the shoulder strap. I was disappointed in its appearance.This tote looks nothing like the illustration in the catalogue. That is why I suggested using it in an outdoor site, since it does not look nice enough to impress an indoor business client. I will say that it has lots of compartments, inside and out, and the zippers are great.

I have finally found the perfect Duluth travel bag, tote, carry-on!! I have several other Duluth totes in various sizes, and I like the others because of their great quality and usefulness, but this one is the winner!! It is called a canvas duffel, but it is so much better than its name implies. It holds a lot, has pockets everywhere, inside and out, and the best feature is that the two sets of zippers (one on the top and one on the side) can be fastened together with small locks, so that your things can always be secure as an airplane carry-on or in your hotel room when you go down to breakfast! I just love this bag!! I have it in red. It come in a blue, but I hope Duluth can make it in a darker color for the men in my family. This is a really great bag!!

I carry large bags & this has great amenities, a place for "everything". But it is made so well that it is fairly heavy before you put anything in it. So I won't carry it everyday. It will truly become a travel bag & recommend it used for an overnight bag.
