Smart Wools are long-lasting, good looking, with a good choice of colors and styles. I was happy to find them light enough for summer hiking, sports, etc. They are better quality than any other socks I've worn. The PhD. variety is my favorite. They're a little luxury I give myself

My husband and I both wear Smartwool and other brands of merino wool socks all year round. Once we tried them, other socks just weren't good enough. I'm glad to find these lightweight socks for warm weather.

I have been wearing Smart wool socks for years and love the quality, durability and great fit. These socks are so comfortable and keep your feet dry. I highly recommend them!

Smart wool socks require the "investment" mentality. And I have an investment into them; styles of all kinds. Some are 3+ years old and have been machine washed and dryer dried during that time. Winter, summer....I wear them even in this tropical climate. I have foot issues and these help with the burning and cramping as well as keeping my feet cool and dry, even in the hot temps we get down here. There are different styles so you must pay attention and get what you like/need. This new pair is a gorgeous color (poppy) and an addition to my summer ones.
