        Iron tough gloves

I owned the previous model of these gloves, I loved them, they lasted a long time, very rugged. These gloves are used for barn work, working in the garden. What I liked about the previous model was how snug they fit, there was a strap at the wrist so you could adjust them. The newer model, while I feel will last a long time as well, they have elastic in the wrist, the fingers are a little longer so I do not have a snug fit like I did. These are great tough gloves just wish they were snugger.

I had a number of pairs of the previous version of Duluth's women's work gloves and LOVED them. These, not so much. Do not pay attention to their sizing chart. I followed their measuring guidelines and ordered L, even though I usually wear a M. They were huge. Just order the size you normally wear in gloves.

Gloves are sturdy enough to dig out pesky weeds and other out-of-control fauna; but dexterous enough to rescue a delicate earthworm hiddin' in the hole. A little hot for those unholy, hot Florida summers but a must have.

I had the older version in black and loved them. These are very well-padded and stand up to all sorts of abuse. I have large hands (I'm 6') and the XL's fit perfectly. Mens gloves fit on the palms, but the fingers are always too big. These are perfect work gloves for women's hands. Got a pair for a friend in M and she loves hers too! Thanks Duluth for remembering that women do hard work too!

I looked everywhere for gloves that were rugged (not just those dainty gardening gloves) and fit well. I have small hands but I still do some heavy duty work. I am demoing a fireplace wall made with 50 - 100 lb rocks. All the other gloves I had tried either didn't fit or were too dainty and tore easily when I would handle the rocks. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars was because they could use some lining so that the seams don't rub so much after prolonged use.
