While this vest would be dandy out on the farm, this vest is perfect for errands and shopping, when you don't want to or are unable to carry a heavy purse. This would be a great gift for a Mom, or a Woman with muscle weakness who cannot carry a purse, or a Woman who uses a walker or crutches. Inside pockets are large and secure to carry checkbook and wallet. Outside pockets load up with reading glasses, pen, and other items for quick access. Tiny zipped chest pocket perfect for a store check-out card, cab fare or small car keys. I might look a little pack-mule-ish, but I LOVE having both my hands free! FYI: When I really load up the pockets with bulky items, there is no chance of closing the zippper over my generous tummy, but the weather is warm, so that's ok. AND as the weather warms, I do not sweat, because the back mesh panel is huge and awesome! To the designers and testers of this product: Well Done!

This vest is just what I needed to have all my garden gear at hand. It has plenty of pockets for clippers, twine, gloves, seed packets, cell phone, bug spray or sunscreen, hose nozzles, trowel, and any miscellaneous items needed. It is lightweight and comfortable. I leave it loaded with my gear so that when I go outside and put it on, I am ready to work in the garden and yard.

Fits great, provides coverage and protection while working in the garden and the netting in the back keeps you cool when working in the sun. Love this vest and would wear it to the office if I could get away with it.

Women's clothing don't always come with pockets, which I feel is a major disadvantage. I HATE carrying a purse so this vest is a reasonable solution. I absolutely love it and will be ordering more (when there's any type of discount). No other vest online comes close to the functions of this vest.

I hate carrying a pocketbook, a camera, maps,,etc when we travel. This vest frees up your hands and is much more comfortable on your back and shoulders than shoulder bags and back packs. The many pockets hold everything you need, securely on the inside for money and passport and within reach on the outside for camera, maps, keys. I love it!

This garment gives me peace of mind while bushwhacking trails and later riding on them horseback with a place for all my things: I've got a place for my cell, my leatherman, my GPS, my trail pass, personal information and ID, and secured interior zip pockets for the expensive stuff so it stays with me in the event of an unforeseen depart between my horse and myself. I LOVE this product!

I bought two. One for gardening and one for looking nice and having all my gear at my fingertips while riding. It's reasonably cool with the mesh back. I have the utility jacket with it's sleeves for cooler rides as well and that is what inspired me to think I needed this vest for the warmer months. It is working out well and I have received many nice comments about the vest's appearance as well as envy of it's functionality.

Lightweight--not bulky. Holds a variety of tools and especially great for my gloves so I'll always have them with me. Nice, roomy pockets, too. I use this on my husband's garden railroad to maintain the various plants and groundcovers.

I tell my friends it's like wearing a tote/purse because of all the versatile pockets. I do everything in these vests. Yes, I've ordered 6 and 4 are for me. I wear them gardening, walking, on the scooter, cycling, shopping.The pockets in the front have a little fabric snap flap the secures items along with zippered pockets on the inside. Now I wish this vest came in the other colors represented in their canvas tote line besides the green and red.
