They're made of the same washed-for-softness, durable 8-oz. cotton canvas as our Fire Hose Cargo Pants, but the blend includes just enough spandex for the most comfortable, work-friendly fit. And don't worry about dirt, oil, mud or grease, because there's a stain-fighting treatment built right in to the fabric.

Women's Sizing Charts

Head: Measure around head, just above eyebrows. Convert inches to hat size using sizing chart.	Waist: Bend side to side to find natural waist. Measure around waist allowing the tape to sit comfortably.	For best results, take measurements over your undergarments. Use a soft tape measure, and allow it to sit comfortably.
Bust: Keeping tape parallel to the floor, measure fullest part of chest with arms relaxed down at sides.	Hips: Stand with feet together. Keep measuring tape parallel to the floor. Measure around the fullest part of seat.
Sleeve: Measure from center of back at neck to shoulder, over elbow and down to wrist.	Inseam: Find a pair of pants that fit you well.Lay them flat and measure from the crotch seam to bottom of the leg. If you are measuring 100% cotton pants that have been washed, add 1⁄2".

Great shorts!

Was looking for a longer pair of shorts for wearing on a daily basis during summer. Not a fan of cargo style shorts with all of the pockets. These were slimming and perfect. Fit to the sizing chart. Just a higher fit than I would have preferred but comfortable none the less!

I love these shorts. I love them so much I tried to buy a pair of fire hose pants that would fit the exact same way. Alas, it seems they do not exist. The fire hose utility pant is the only one in the fire hose line to also have a straight fit so I, and the customer service lady who helped me, figured it would be the full length version of the shorts. It is not. The waist band is not as forgiving. I wish you made a pair of full length pants exactly like these shorts.

These are my new favorite shorts. Very comfortable, excellent fit (and I am a larger woman). Just wish the front pockets were a little deeper (barely holds my small smart phone).
