    Best fleece lined jeans EVER!

    By Lisa

    from Rochester, NY

    Pros

    • Comfortable
    • Fleece Is Quality Made
    • Moderately priced
    • nicer than denim
    • Warm soft
    • Wash well

    Cons

      Best Uses

      • Outdoor work

I have a small alpaca farm in upstate New York and worked in these fleece lined pants every day this winter. I've had flannel lined jeans but the beat the competitors brand jeans "hands down". I'll be ordering more for upcoming cold seasons and plan to give them as gifts. They're great!

I bought two pairs of these pants and I've virtually lived in them all winter. I can only wear them with long uderwear, however because the lining of the pockets rub on my legs and its uncomfortable. Its been a cold winter in Central New York so long underwear with these pants has been essential since I work outdoors with sheep and cattle. The size 4 fits me perfectly, I am 5"3 and 130 lbs. The waist sits perfectly on my hips, that's how I like to wear pants...depends on your preference cause some reviews said the waist was too big. Thanks for more great perfect fitting womens pants!

        Warm pants

        • Anything Standing Up

Purchased these at end of winter sale last year and have worn them at least once or twice a week this year. We started using vinegar in rinse and it has stopped them from attracting so much lint which is why I quit wearing them end of last winter to work on weekends. I have to have a long shirt tucked in the pants which are tight at first then will loosen up. However, pulling ivy the other day, I was ready to toss them! It feels like I'm showing my crack off to everyone. I don't know the answer...maybe some elastic, maybe make a pair that sits at or above the waist? Yet I love that I can be in 20-40 degree weather and be comfortable. A belt does not keep them tight enough for my bubble butt and usually I have no problems with Duluth pants which is why I keep coming back!

        I would recommend with reservations.

I really wanted to love these pants. I have the unlined cargo pants and they are wonderful. But these have so many issues for me. First, the pockets on the left thigh hit me at my widest place and irritate my legs. It's not painful, just annoying. I am thin (5'8" 120 lbs) and somewhat curvy and the cut of the pants is perfect. Unfortunately, the lining almost feels slick to me - it's hard to describe, but it doesn't feel like other fleece. It has a smoother, thinner, less-brushed effect. Also, the outer material attracts every imaginable bit of lint, cat hair, fuzz, you name it - maybe it's because of the spandex or the FendOff fabric treatment for stains (BTW, why do we need toxic chemicals on our pants?). So, for all those reasons I just don't wear them. It's a shame because it's usually the fit that's so hard to get right. AND these fit me beautifully. I would love a pair with original firehose fabric, brushed fleece, and lower cargo pockets.

I'm an archaeologist that works outside to do my daily digging for artifacts. The pants are very warm and dry even in the cold wet Jan. weather. My dad also uses his for skiing and motorcycling. He did have a problem with the inside pockets (no lining) rubbing his thighs to create chafing.

I've been looking for flannel or fleece lined pants--that fit--and allow me to forego long underwear. These pants do it! They don't bind at the waist. The move with me (they aren't stiff). They aren't as unattractive as a men's line pant. And front pockets are deep. The only notes: I'd love it if the pant leg were a tad less wide to keep air from wafting up the leg.

terrific for sub freezing temps we've been having in the Northeast this January. i need to be able to withstand the weather for long dogwalks and these do the trick. my dog has boots and a coat for long play)sledding sessions in the snow and now I can stay out as long as she wants!:)

                  Size Up!

                  Best Uses

Love these pants and I may even stop eating dessert three times a day so I can fit into them. (I would exchange for a bigger size but they are out of stock at the moment.) They are definitely smaller than the same size in unlined Fire Hose pants. Even accounting for the lining. If you are already a fan of Fire Hose pants, I would order one size up from those.

Attending a dog sled race in the upper midwest in the dead of winter can be extremely frigid. I needed a product that would provide safety from frostbite yet be versatile and comfortable. These fleece lined cargo pants fit those requirements. Available in several colors and pant lengths, I was able to choose what worked best for me.
