Comments about 6 Ounce Instant Adhesive Tear Mender:

I got this to fix a sofa cushion that our dog tore. I expected it to let loose after a while. The tear was about 4 inches long and gaped open about half an inch. 5 years later and it holds strong still. It dries slightly darker than the fabric color and has a rubberized feel to it. Not extremely noticeable though.

Comments about 6 Ounce Instant Adhesive Tear Mender:

Used this to repair several small holes/tears in denim jeans. I always seem to get tiny holes at the top stitch of the back pockets just when they're getting good and broken in. This stuff worked great and seems to be surviving washing. Be sure to read the directions and don't apply out of the bottle to avoid a noticeable, discolored repair. Use a toothpick or q-tip to just dab a little on the frayed area, working from the center out. Less is more here.

Comments about 6 Ounce Instant Adhesive Tear Mender:

Tear Mender exceeded my expectations. I repaired a ripped area on my Muck boots and you have to look very closely to see the damaged area. I had to apply several coats to completely fill the void area. This stuff is great.

Comments about 6 Ounce Instant Adhesive Tear Mender:

This seam mender works great on small tears to prevent fabric from fraying more. Dries fast! It doesnot wash off when rubbed into the fabric. I recommend using it on the inside of the fabric because it remains tacky and does collect a little lint ect. Can be used as a patch adhesive also. A little common sense on where to use helps.

Comments about 6 Ounce Instant Adhesive Tear Mender:

I spend a lot of time on my knees leaning over and around swimming pools as I measure them . Concrete or pavers generally surround the pools and, obviously, are abrasive. As good as fire hose material is it begins to fray which is the beginning of holes. A coworker (a Duluth advocate) gave me some adhesive - I applied and four months (+/-) later all is well.

            But there is more.

I splashed concentrated chlorine on another pair of fire hose pants. It spot bleached them. A knee having been compromised by the bleach ,plus my kneeling, frayed and opened a hole fairly fast . I used the adhesive to glue a denim patch on the inside of the pants, and 3 washes later, the patch is still holding.

I used this stuff to repair the frayed outside edge of pockets on my firehose jeans. Tear Mender has held up thru at least 10 washes without any noticeable degradation. This stuff can honestly be used in place of thread stitches to mend fabric (and leather apparently).

Comments about 6 Ounce Instant Adhesive Tear Mender:

I looked forward to getting this product because I had some fairly new shorts that I had caught on a nail that needed repair. I also had two American flags that had caught on my car and torn during a wind storm. It didn't work. Period. It's soupy and runs and is completely unusable. I can't believe all the positive reviews. I MUST have gotten a different product. This stuff is garbage. Oh, and forget about the "no bull" guarantee. To send this [$] bottle back costs $6.95 in shipping. I'm DONE with this company since this isn't the first problem I've had.
