I love smart wool socks. My feet used to freeze in the winter, I would wear two pairs of socks all winter. My feet haven't been cold since I started weating smart wool. Wear them hiking, outdoor chores, running, snowshoeing, even wear them in the house.

This is my second purchase of the Smartwool socks. Despite the cost, they are very durable socks and do wonders in keeping your feet dry and oderfree. I have to wear closed shoes 10 hours a day and these socks helped. I got a larger size this time since the last ones felt tight after the first wash and the heel part wore thin. Otherwise I try to have at least a week's amount of socks so when these go on sale I stock up as I did in this order.

Have only worn these once, but they pilled on first washing. Weave is too loose to endure the stresses of hiking, the advertised use for these socks.
