I've tried other fleece jackets of varying quality. Either they were long enough but didn't have a two way zip, or the zipper they had was of such poor quality, it would take 10 minutes and the patience of a saint to actually zip it! This wonderful jacket is made from premium fabric, has a two way zipper that actually works, the exact longer length I'd been searching for, and gorgeous color to boot. Thanks Duluth for once again raising the bar for exceptional quality, comfort, and function in REAL womens outerwear!

I purchased this for boating in the San Juan Islands in Washington State. I was perfectly comfortable on the fly-bridge while underway across the Straight. I am very satisfied with the performance in wind & rain. I really like the way the hood fits... it can cinch up around my face but doesn't block my vision. The fit is flattering and I like how it's longer in the back. I ordered a Large in purple - I'm 5'7 / 175 lbs. I wore it over long-sleeved thermal tops. I don't think it would be as comfortable over a bulky sweatshirt. The zippered pockets work fine for me; holds my cell, chapstick, & keys with plenty of room for hands if they needed warming-up. I'm VERY happy with my purchase and will use it for more than just boating.

I got this coat after ordering the shoreline jacket, which turned out to be way to short.

I'm 5'8" 130lbs, and the coat fits very well.
It fits low hip, and I love that it's longer in the back!

I do wish the cuffs pulled in, the zipper was a little more flexible, and the pockets could be better.
The pockets are difficult to get your hands into, and then they are just a thin nylon, no warmth. (I do love that they have a zipper, but I tend to put my hands in my pockets...)

Overall, I do love this coat, though it should come in more colors!

I saw this jacket on a friend and asked her where she had purchased it. When she told me that it came from Duluth Trading I immediately went online to order one for myself. For a number of years I had been looking for a black fleece jacket to replace one that was worn out. But every jacket I tried on was too short; I wanted something a little longer. The length of this jacket is perfect. And once I received my jacket and wore it, another friend asked me where I had bought it and she then ordered one!

I live in W. Michigan and this coat has been my "go-to" for much of the winter. It's a little more stylish than my other parka (and much newer!); it's warm and comfortable. I bought a size up in order to be able to layer -- fleece, heavy sweater, and cord shirts -- so that may be why I found it warm enough for wear in really cold weather. I would love a chest pocket, with a zip and an inside pocket. Bottom line, I like the coat so much I'm ordering one in a different color.

Sometimes, I have to try to to start the zipper more than once. I think that is just me. I love wearing the coat!

I look forward to using this coat while on a two week Alaskian Ferry trip. The bright red is for my husband who (because I'm short) is always "loosing" me in a crowd. We are staying on a WWII tug boat B&B for a week and I know that it will be chilly. The coat will be a real asset! It is comfortable and easy to complete tasks like kayaking, hiking, and sitting on a log eating salmon at the beach. I've been practicing some of these activities to make sure it will work well for the trip.

This jacket exceeded my expectations. The zipper is smooth and easy , the quality is very good. The fit is great, not too tight nor too bulky. I wore it for a short (1 hr)dog hike in 33 degrees with a wind, over a thin shirt and was very comfortable. It seemed to block the wind without perspiration buildup. It covers my butt, the green is soft, lovely and not yellowish. It is suitable for anything except special occasions. I had planned to wear it to work and around town, but I may have to buy another for outdoor play.

This is the first fleece jacket that I've owned that has a hood, which was my first reason to select it. Now that I've worn it numerous times, I also like it's pockets, shaping, and length. It works well over other layers, but is also nice by its self. I bought black for its servicability, but I may come back for more colors!
