Men's Sizing Charts

Head:

Measure around head, just above eyebrows. Convert inches to hat size using sizing chart.

Sleeve:

Measure from center of back at neck to shoulder, over elbow and down to wrist.

Tradesman Sizing:

Our clothing is generously sized for extra roominess and easy moving fit. No need to size up.

Neck:

Measure around the middle of the neck (at the Adam's apple).

Waist:

Bend side to side to find natural waist. Measure around waist.

Chest:

Keeping tape parallel to the floor, measure fullest part of chest with arms relaxed down at sides.

Inseam:

Measure a pair of pants that fit you well. Measure from the crotch seam to bottom of pants. If you are measuring 100% cotton pants that have been washed, add 1⁄2".

This vest fit like a glove I just love to wear it when it's not too cold. It provides pleanty of warmth and has just the right amount of pockets.

Great vest for travel as well

I travel long-haul international for business often. The vest is perfect level of outer warmth for those long flights. The Nepolian pocket is indispensable for quick and easy access for passport/boarding pass and glasses. The outer pockets are huge as well easily handling water bottles and snacks. But I'll share with you one of my secrets; the inner waste pocket liners are excellent ipad and notebook pockets! Yup - I pretty much load up my vest with what I need for a long flight, hit my seat ready to go...

What I was hoping for

I purchased this vest specifically for snowmobiling. The new style of snowmobiles just do not cut wind like they used to. The windshields are much lower and subsequently the wind from riding can be problematic. I am 6 foot 6 inches, so the wind that deflects from the windshield it's me square in the chest. I needed something that was windproof in addition to my snowmobile coat to help keep me from freezing on long day rides. I purchased this vest from Duluth Trading Company over other well-known outdoor gear manufactures because I have had great success with their products and customer service in the past. I used this vest on a ride when it was -27°. Naturally I had additional clothing underneath but the whole reason I purchased this vest was to break the wind on my chest. It did just that.

The Shoreman's Vest is a great addition to layer under my Shoreman's Jacket. No need to wear a lot of layers with these items and they reduce the bulk factor! Very toasty!

Great utility - Great looking

I ordered a large size to wear under a xtra large jacket. The combination of the two lets me rider in the -40 degree weather and actualy be worm. The only thing that keeps me off my motorcycle is ice on the road.
