My average for going through a typical watch is about 4 months. They just can't hack the demanding work.

However, I bought this watch from the manufacturer in Nov 2011 (A-2t) along with the progaurd and it is still tickin' like non other. I do not expect this watch to fail for years. It has survived; hundreds of hours on an ATV, Fixing hundreds of miles of fence, being kicked by numerous calves, being spat on, 'dung-ed' on, bitten, rattled, wacked and drowned, just to name a few.

At the start I had to take some sand paper to the 'fused' parts of the band, and had to figure out that when using the 3rd hole from the end I had to wrap the band end around the outside of the band holder, then tuck it in backwards from the outside to keep it in place.

But I expect that Burtucci watches will the ONLY watch I buy forever.. if I ever have to replace this one that is.

Very solid watch. Quality is good, product does what it is supposed to. I like the simplicity of the watch. Both look and function. Only negative is that it doesn't have a background light for night viewing. I knew that buying it, so its not really a negative, but once in a while I'm trying to check the time when there is no light. I would buy it again.

I bought the watch because I needed something durable. I am tough on watches and therefore did not want to pay a ton of money. The Bertucci looked good, was made in USA and decent price.

So far ..so good.

The only drawback to this watch is that for someone with small wrists, it is a bit too big. Otherwise, it is easy to read and completely waterproof if the instructions are followed for sealing the watch after setting the time/date. (The crown dial used for setting the watch has to be tightened to make the seal)

plan to replace the band every couple of months, as it gets pretty nasty. I tried ordering the deluxe band, but Duluth dropped the ball shipping it-- first omission in many years of excellent service. overall a great watch

I orderd this watch because I wanted something that would be good for travel. When I ordered the watch, I was living in Spain so I had a relative ship it out to me to save shipping costs. However, upon arrival, the watch didn't work. I wasn't looking forward to paying more shipping to have it sent to the US so I contacted customer service. In a week's time, a second watch was sent to my European address, free of charge. I was very impressed on how the situation was handled. The new watch works great too.

I got this watch for Father's Day. This watch looks great. I really like the fact it has no pins to hold the band. It claims to be water resistant to about 100m.

Unfortunately, when I washed my hand in the sink and splashed a little water on it (did not submerge it even 1/4"), it got water under the crystal and quit. I had had it about two weeks.

No problem. I exchanged it for another. When I washed my hands with my second one, it also got water under the crystal. It lasted about a week. I send this one back and got a refund.

On a positive note, Duluth's exchange and refund process worked very well. It is a shame neither of my watches could take water splashed on them.

I got a cheap brand "T" and it works well. I can even wash my hands without killing my watch!
