I am sending this to say that I am impressed with my first order from Duluth Trading.

That said, I am questioning the description of the 92254 Walkstool in the catalog.

It is described as a "2 position stool". I challenge any one to set on the stool in the

other than full extended position.

The stool as shipped will serve my needs. Others customers may not be as easy as me.

Thank you for being a quality vendor. The humor is good too.

I got the walkstool for use when waiting to go in the ring at dog shows. I wanted something easy to carry and lightweight for packing when traveling. The walkstool is perfect and I'm very happy with it. My only minor complaint is that you do need to keep your feet planted as its a bit unstable. Don't buy it if you plan to lounge in it!

I have severe arthritis in both knees and just started a job that requires much standing and bending so had to figure something out to accommodate. Without this stool, I am quite sure I wouldn't be able to continue with this job. I'm actually going to buy another one to keep as a back-up and use at home when I'm organizing closets, etc. I have a big behind, so the seat isn't that comfortable for long term sitting, but more comfortable than being in severe pain from standing!

It is very helpful to me because I have to get off of my legs at a moments notice when I am walking very far. Handy and very usefull.

I have two bad knees, both with bone-on-bone contact and this stool is a life saver. While walking is painful, just standing in one place waiting for something is far worse, and this stool is a great solution! I purchased the 22" model. On the job I either carry it loose in my hand or in a tool bag depending on the needs of the task at hand. Off the job it's pretty much the same, either loose carry or in a backpack depending on where I'm going. In either case when I find myself standing & waiting for something the stool comes out and my butt goes on it, and what a relief for the knees. It's quick to set up and quick to take down and a very light carry. I tip the scales at 340 lbs and I haven't had any problem with the stool supporting my weight. The only issue I've had is that on one occasion my knees were screaming and in my haste to set up the stool I inadvertently pulled one leg all the way out of the frame, but it was easy to put back in and still works fine. I've had it for about a month now and do not leave home without it. Good quality product, made in Sweden.

The stool is great. I do a lot of nature photography and sit quite a bit. This stool is very strong and durable and will last for years. It's well worth the money you will spend. I keep it in my truck and use it when I go shopping with my wife, or for any long lines. I even took it to an air show.
I went to a home improvement store and purchased a holder for small hand tools. It has a short bungee cord that wraps around the folded stool and has a belt clip so you can carry from your waist. Very handy.

HAD A BAD BREAK TO A KNEE AND MESSED UP FEET AND ANKLES PRETTY BAD 14 YEARS AGO. NOW HAVE ARTHRITIS BAD. BOUGHT THE 18 " VERSION IN 2007? WAS EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED. I CAN FISH AGAIN, GO TO A PARADE OR USE IT CAMPING. ONLY PROBLEM I HAD WAS IT WAS TOO SHORT. BOUGHT THE 22 " AND IT NOW STAYS IN MY CAR OR TRUCK. STILL USE BOTH. BEST THING I EVER BOUGHT MYSELF! EXTREAMLY COMFORTABLE AND COULD SIT IN IT FOR DAYS. SOMETIMES THE LEGS DON'T STAY IN OR CLOSED WHEN I CARRY IT, BUT IT DOES NOT BOTHER ME.

bought this for the wife for a trip to Paris with the Niece. She has advanced scoliosis and has a rough time with standing for any amount of time.
When we were on the guided tours, every time the guide stops, out came the chair. It was a trip saver!!
So far, it seems to be quite durable.hopefully it will last a long time.
If you are going to be standing in any lines with a rough back,this is for you.

I bought this to take on a week long excursion into the Grand Canyon with my son. It was FABULOUS. Fit in my backpack and supported my 290 pounds without effort. Loved it. Wish I had bought one year ago.
