    COMMENTS:

wish you had one for fork lift drivers in -20 I had refrigiwear iron tuff with 180g fiberfill kept my hands warm I love the fit of them but with the wind in -20 my fingers got numbing cold. in Duluth winter proof gloves I gave the iron tuff away. my fingers in the winter proof gloves do get a little cold but 10 times better thank you. they warm right up after I get out of the freezer im in and out of for an hour or two at a time a little more insulation you would have one hell of a winner I just need something that can take abuse picking up pallets wrapping pallets driving forklift and picking up 75lbs boxes more warmth more abrasion resistant. I would buy them no matter the price. think ill try the Yellowknife gloves next thank you.

    COMMENTS:

Ordered these gloves with some excitement! Finally looked like I had found some gloves that would stand up. They fit perfectly when I got them. Didn't need a lot of breaking in. Looked like they fit the bill.

Well, I'm a flatbed trucker based out of Denver. Travel through the mountains daily. Old injuries to my hands makes cold and wet conditions absolute misery for my hands.

After about 4 weeks of use I tossed these gloves. They were absolutely shredded. Chains and straps just tore them to pieces. They definitely weren't water proof as advertised. After about 15 minutes of putting tire chains on my hands were soaked and frozen.

Honestly I think its more the job that the gloves. It didn't mater if I spent $40 bucks or $4 on gloves they'd all last 2-6 weeks.

I would not recommend these gloves for hard, difficult work. Especially dealing with straps or chains. I would not have a problem recommending them for yard work, casual wear, hunting, etc....

      • working outside in winter weather

      COMMENTS:

I purchased these gloves to replace gloves that don't work at keeping my hands warm and dry while working outside in cold weather. We here in the Pennsylvania had a short mild winter so when we got some snow I put these gloves on to shovel snow and clear it off the car. The cars recessed area and the wipers can only be cleared with my hands to scoop out the snow, so when I finished the cleaning up the snow I had warm fingers. So I gave away all the other gloves I had that left me with cold or wet hands. These gloves worked okay for a ride on my motorcycle this winter I said our winter was short!
