I bought this hat a couple of years ago. I had a similar hat without the breathable top, but it was way to hot for Ohio summers. Bought this one and am and very happy with it. Nice wide brim to keep out the sun and protect my neck. It is as good as the day I bought it, no lose seams or anything, but getting pretty ugly and dirty from gardening, planting trees, etc. I'm buying another one today. Need a decent looking one to wear to my kids summer sporting events without looking like a hobo.
My only complaint would be that the little piece of leather used to cinch the tie straps around our neck to hold it on don't hold very well. One of the plastic beads with the button on the side would have worked better. I ended up stealing one off an old winter coat.

The mesh is limp and won't hold the top up. Doesn't look anything like the Ad.

Really disappointed in this hat. It wears like a towel rather than a hat. Brand new, right out of the box, the mesh on the sides of the crown won't even hold up the top material of the hat. I can see the point of some reviewers where if you get this hat wet its done for. The material the hat is made of is water absorbent. Should be water repellant. Also fits VERY large to size. I usually am right on with hats, their sizing, and my head. Not so here. I could pull it down over my eyes almost.

Was going to Vagas, very hot there. I felt very comfortable in the hat gave me shade and kept me cool.

This is my second one and I would recomend this hat to anybody that wants to keep there head out of the sun.

I've been wearing this during the hot AZ summer. It has been working great for me. The ventilation keeps my head from getting too hot. I am getting the shade I am looking for.

Purchased this hat to wear during Scout camp with my Son. Nice hat with good coverage, breathable and wasn't too hot. Would recommend this hat, just maybe not as stylish as I expected. I think the hat has a slightly wide brim (which could certainly be considered a plus under certain conditions). Another guy had a competitors hat which was a little sportier. Overall though it serves its purpose well, seems to hold it's shape and kept the sun and rain off my head!

The product is great in hot & sunny days. I tend to get skin cancer from the sun, Therefore need protection. Hat does a very good job.
Really like the style, plus it's compressable to fit in a suitcase & bounces back when you take it out at your destination. The strap on the hat tends to move & requires adjustments, so that both sides are even. Overall would buy similar type products.
