Men's Sizing Charts

Head:

Measure around head, just above eyebrows. Convert inches to hat size using sizing chart.

Sleeve:

Measure from center of back at neck to shoulder, over elbow and down to wrist.

Tradesman Sizing:

Our clothing is generously sized for extra roominess and easy moving fit. No need to size up.

Neck:

Measure around the middle of the neck (at the Adam's apple).

Waist:

Bend side to side to find natural waist. Measure around waist.

Chest:

Keeping tape parallel to the floor, measure fullest part of chest with arms relaxed down at sides.

Inseam:

Measure a pair of pants that fit you well. Measure from the crotch seam to bottom of pants. If you are measuring 100% cotton pants that have been washed, add 1⁄2".

This seems to be an almost perfect shirt. I like shirts with pockets and long sleeve polos with pockets are hard to find. Unlike other retailers, Duluth does not seem to be cutting corners on quality.

After many years of putting off ordering from the appealing Duluth catalog, I made the plunge and couldn't have been happier. Wish I'd done it years ago. The quality and fit is better than the main line outfitters and the extra length is perfect: no continual tucking in. The pocket is the right depth and the material isn't so slick that it slips up at the waist. Will be ordering another in red soon.

Good Shirt But Watch For Shrinkage

I'm a little late (OK a lot late) writing this review as I bought 9 of these shirts in 3 separate purchases in 2008 and 2009. All were washed and dried as directed. Two of them shrunk so much (esp. the tail/length) that I had to stop wearing them - they wouldn't stay tucked in. Three more shrunk noticeably but I'm still wearing them, although they barely stay tucked in (sometimes they don't). The other four are OK. All shrinkage occurred by the 2nd or 3rd washing. But I am still wearing 7 of the 9 after 4-5 years (I wear them daily for work) and they still look good, don't have any holes, etc., so that speaks a lot to the quality. I just bought another one of these and I'm hoping the quality control re shrinkage has improved - time will tell.
