I got two of these for my boyfriend who installs granite every day. His work has him outside most of the job and he can't use gloves while cutting granite. He's only taken one Zippo warmer at a time so far but he loves it. The warmer always lasts his whole job and then some; even longer than the instructions estimate. The heat it generates has been excellent for unfreezing his phalangies on even the coldest days we've had.
The only downside we've seen so far is that we can't figure out how to get them to "turn off" when we're done using them. We have to just let all the zippo fuel burn out. So that means it has to be refilled more often.
Also, on the first few uses it can be difficult to get the warmer to ignite. But once it's broken in it starts up like a charm every time.
I'm so impressed with their performance that I'm stealing that second one and claiming it for my ski trips :)

Used on a recent winter camping trip. A little difficult to light, but 1 oz did last for 12 hours. They are much warmer the the chemical hand warmers. My daughter gave me one for Christmas and I purchased another one for a annual winter camping event

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband. He works outdoors in all kinds of weather. This has been a great gift and his co-workers are jealous.

Well when I take my 1963 Thiokol Snowcat out for a 18 mile round trip to my Cabin my hands get a little cold, not with the Zippo Handwarmer its very easy to use and keeps my hands nice and warm while cruising the snow cat up to the cabin. Slip it in my pocket and away I go. I have had it last for 36-48 hours when full of lighter fluid. Great product!
