Don't be afraid to try Merino wool. This is not the scratchy wool of the 70's. This is soft, warm when sweaty and adjustable for wearing on your neck, head and face as you warm up while exercising outdoors in winter. A must-have layering garment for CC skiers!

When I first received my buff, it was thinner than I was expecting. However, it does the job of keeping you warm. It is not going to keep a strong wind out, but if you've got your coat collar pulled up, it does an amazing insulating job. I'm outside a lot, and I always needed just a little something to keep my neck warm, but a scarf was too much. This buff is perfect, and its hassle free once its on your neck (unlike a scarf).

The day after it came in the mail, we had a two-week cold spell (ranging from 15 degrees to -15 degrees in the mornings). The buff saved me during my morning chores! I folded it in half for a double layer and wore it like a mask, just beneath my eyes, over the nose and mouth, and tucked into my coat collar. I was soooo glad I had ordered it in time. There would be a layer of frost where I had been breathing through it.

I've also worn it while skiing. It does excellent for keeping the cold breeze off your face and neck when going downhill at a fast pace.

I bought the ivory buff as a gift for my daughter-in-law, and it looked so good on her, I want one, too. It easily takes the place of a bulky scarf that tangles and gets in the way but serves the same practical purpose of keeping your neck or head warm in cold weather. The wool is soft and the buff looks fab.

It can be slipped up over part of the face to protect from the winter winds. It works great and looks nice as well.

I got the Buff on Christmas Eve, and I swear I've worn it every day since. If you are outdoorsy, whether it be dog walking or ranching, this thing is AWESOME! I'm a big fan of neck gaitors, but this Buff does the same work, only more breathable, lighter, more versatile and faster drying (when you use it as a face mask). I just finished walking in 18 degree weather with 40 mph wind blasts and I was NOT unhappy!

When the temps dipped below 50 degrees, I started wearing my wool buff bicycling and LOVE it! I wear it around my neck and pulled up over my head and it fits very comfortably under my helmet; I hardly know I have it on except for the warmth it amazingly provides despite being so lightweight. Plus, no loose ends to come unwrapped while biking. Wish Duluth had more colors available!! I've worn it biking in the upper 20s and still have a warm head and neck! Another plus is that when I stop for coffee, I can simply pull it down around my neck and it looks fashionable and I don't have to worry about losing it.

Love to watch Grandchildren at sports. I get chilled to the bone if my neck is cold. Nice product, just fits a little to snug for me, but will keep. Pretty color, goes with any jacket I put on. Nice quality of material.

The material is very soft and very comfortable next to my skin. I wear my Buff more than I ever thought I would. To conserve, I don't keep a very warm house in the winter so I wear it in the house and if I get really cold, I bring it up on my head instead of wearing a cap. I have not washed it yet so I can't comment on that but with Duluth's quality merchandise, I feel sure it will launder well.

I reach for this buff every time I go outdoors wearing a button up blouse or a 1/4 zip. It's the perfect thing to keep my neck warm without overheating. Usually I can leave it on indoors too because it is so breathable. Its as easy as a scarf with less fuss.
