I have both car emergency hammers from Duluth - the Life Hammer (orange colored) as well as the Safety Hammer (with the cool DTC logo). I find the smaller Safety Hammer fits a crowded glove box better plus it has a little more weight which may be helpful when smashing a window during an emergency.

This item is priced-right- It would be a colossol bummer to be driving down the road and then plunge off of a bridge into a river- and get trapped in my seatbelt, and not be able to open or break my driver's window to escape.

I can afford this tool, and it fits into my glove box. The best possible scenario would be that I wasted my $'s on it because I never needed it!

Great compact tool that was on a clearence price so I bought one for everyone in the family. Small enough to store in the center compartment of the car so its easy access if I or a passenger need it.

This seems to have enough weight behind it to work, without being to big and bulky to have hanging around in your car. Fits nice between door and seat for secure storage yet easy to get to.
