Great hat for the price. The wide brim keeps my face and neck out of the sun. I love the mesh.It lets breezes through and keeps my head from over heating. I wear this for fishing and the chin strap has kept me from losing the hat more than once from a gust of wind.

Very nice hat for working in the yard, cool and comfortable, wide brim keeps sun out of my eyes and off my face and neck. You could wear it anytime you'll be out in full sun, although for me it is a little too dorky-looking for a social occasion! :-)

This is a great hat for shielding from the sun. The brim is uv rated and does a great job covering enough of the face without being too big. Great venting on the sides, but solid on top for additional protection.
I come in and out of the sun, and didn't think I would use the leather chin strap, but I was very wrong. It comes in real handy, and very glad they didn't cut cost by omitting it.
Looks like I will get years of great service. Built to last.

I love the hat. The only thing I didn't like, which my husband also didn't like on the men's hat, is the string placement. It is positioned right over the ears and is very annoying. I would give the hat a 5 star rating if the string was back farther.

This is a great sunshield anywhere. It is cool and breathable and the tie keeps the wind from taking it and lets you drop it down your back when you want to take it off.
