Good heavy fabric that allowed me to prune my roses as well as reaching under to remove grass that had infiltrated. First year that no one will say, "How did you get all those scratches?"

The Velcro makes it easy to replace after I've taken my glove off to do other things during the trimming process.

May have to get another for my other arm next year!

I have ordered these pruning sleeves for friends who garden, for my gardeners, for myself, and have taken them to the country for heavy duty cleanup and pruning. These are great for pruning roses or blackberry bushes and any other prickly plants. I also use them for carrying and stacking firewood. They are a must in my gardening tool kit!

Size runs small and I had to add extra Velcro to make it fit my forearms, The quality is great, just a little to small.

I install solar panels for a living, and managing the wires between the panels and the roof can be hard on the arms. Not only are the shingles abrasive, but they get really hot in the Texas summers! I bought these pruning sleeves with the hopes that they could protect my forearms from the heat and abrasiveness of the shingles, and I was not disappointed. I just wish that they'd go all the way up to my shoulders. :-)

I purchased two as a gift for my mother-in-law but could not give them. They are way loo large for a petite lady. I did not notice if they came in smaller sizes, but I don't think k they do. They are even too large for me. I can't tighten them and they are too long for my forearm. They are well made. I wish I could use them.

I would recommend everyone get a pair of these sleeve protectors. If you do a lot of rose bush pruning or any type of evergreen trees or bushes pruning then you will really like these sleeves, no cuts from thorns on the rose bushes and no rashes when handling the evergreen branches.
The service and delivery were very fast. I got my pair in 2 days.

We use our pruning sleeves both at home and for clearing brush at the farm. We're both left handed so we love that we didn't have to buy useless right sleeves. The cost has jumped up quite a bit since last year, but the quality is excellent. Please consider making these sleeves available year-round because pruning is a year-round task.
