I was thrilled to find a warm and windproof cap with a visor. But it didn't work for me. The ear flaps were too short, and the wind got in between the cap and my ears. No, I don't have big ears! I found the rim too hard and chafing, and the fabric a bit too stiff. I tried them riding my bicycle and out hiking on a windy winter day. My ears got very cold, my head got cold. I had to change to a different cap. I returned them. Duluth clothes almost always fit me perfectly, and this was just an exception.

I bought this hoping it would finally solve my need of a baseball hat (which I love), keeping my hair contained and keeping my ears warm when shoveling. This hat does all it promises, plus, I have a smaller head and was thrilled when this actually fit. It is light in weight, but when the winds were howling while I was shoveling at 5:30 am - my head was warm as toast AND the hat stayed on! Thank you Duluth!

Products ordered all received in a timely manner - this hat is toasty warm and I especially LOVE the hole for my pony tail. I have super curly and thick hair so the XL hat fits great over all my hair. Looking forward to wearing it alot this winter!

Used this hat for the first time this week in one of our rare Central Indiana blizzards and it kept my neck and head very warm. The visor could be a bit longer but for the most part it kept the wind driven snow out of my face and eyes......which is why I bought it ! Thanks Duluth Trading ! Needed something warm, that stayed on in the wind, and that kept snow off my glasses. This does it. Really wish the bill (brim) was longer though, as I have skin cancer, and need to keep my face shaded. This shades my eyes, but the rest of my face gets more sun on it than I want.
