I use when a coat is too much even though it is a little bulky for driving. Would like to see it in green or navy. Have had several complements..

Great vest

By ajg

from Nebraska

Pros

  • Heavy Duty Double Zipper
  • Pockets
  • Warm

Cons

  • Sizing runs big

Best Uses

  • Working outside

I have owned my vest for a year now, and I have used it each season except summer. It is surprisingly warm, and I really love all of the pockets and especially the brass double zipper. I have a down vest that is a little warmer, but it doesn't get used nearly as much as this vest due to lack of a double zipper, and being made of nylon that rips too easily. The fabric on the Duluth vest is much better suited for work.

Lint and pet hair magnet

After several months of trying to love this vest, I've finally decided to return it. I simply cannot live with this much lint and pet hair on my clothes, not even for everyday use.

The vest was a Christmas gift for my wife. She has enjoyed using it on her daily walks through our mountain community. It is warm, breaks the wind and has pockets to keep her hands warm and her cell phone handy.

A really nice vest. I love the soft lining and all the pockets. I would have preferred the fabric to be a little prettier on the outside but do realize this is a work vest.

                Work with Confidence

                By flowerfriend

                Pros

                  Best Uses

                  • Gardening

I usually wear size 8 and ordered a medium which was ample to wear over a sweatshirt. The outer fabric repelled rain and sleet as I did some late gardening. The lining is toasty warm. I got the green which is a favorite color.
It is a heavy garment for a vest, but doesn't impair any of my work. The pockets are deep enough for my small shears and other small tools. It's a keeper.

Versatile vest that is toasty with the freedom to layer or not. Love that I can wear a waffle weave, flannel shirt and the vest on cold days and be very comfortable and avoid the puffball look. Only improvement I'd recommend is adding side angled slit pockets.

I love this vest! It's very well made, comfortable, and fits a little loose to allow for both layering and movement. The berber lining is wonderfully soft and warm. It is the perfect outer layer for a fall morning on the farm, when it's too cold for just a sweater but still not cold enough for a bulky jacket. I've also taken to wearing it off-farm, and my family joked that I didn't take it off for the first two weeks after I bought it!

I love this vest. It has many useful pockets, a workhorse zipper, and good styling. I wear this vest for anything outdoors and many other occasions, including social.

This vest , with fire-hose exterior and cozy lining, is great protection for the most vulnerable parts: chest and back. If you fling on this great garment, often no coat is needed. It arrived a couple of weeks ago, and already I wouldn't want to be without it. And the burgundy color goes beautifully with my new Duluth flannel shirt.
