This jacket has seen me through an Alaska winter--driving, dog walking, indoor shopping, short stints outdoors. The zipper has worked quickly, easily, and smoothly every single time, a problem I have had with other jackets. Pockets are a great size and well located, the jacket is amazingly warm for its weight, doesn't show dirt, pills only a little. Sleeves were a little too long, but I either turned them back or wore them long to keep hands warm without gloves. I will definitely buy a new one when this one wears out!

Jacket does what it advertises; blocks the wind with minimal bulk. Can be a little tough pulling it on/off. With the collar up, the zipper stop can irritate your chin after awhile. Wish it had a sleeve pockt like the boys version. Overall a very good product and should work well on the bicycle tour.

Used primarily alone or under a spring jacket. Durable feel and look for shopping or working in the yard.

I don't know how you do it Duluth, but even though this jacket is lightweight, it can certainly stand up against the cold winter weather; bye bye to bulky winter coats. If it gets really cold and windy, I just add a lightweight fleece layer and I'm toasty! Although I am only 5'2", I do have long arms - the sleeves are a bit long for me but on the bright side, no cold wrists here. The overall length of the jacket is perfect, the size is true, the color (mine's red) is beautiful, and the two-way zipper is as smooth a silk! I can't wait to wear this jacket during a shower to test the resistance to water. The only negative thing I can say is that the fleece has pilled somewhat (other reviewers mentioned that their jackets did NOT). I hope that a good washing might solve this problem.

Bought one of these jackets in the store in October 2012...wore it constantly so I purchased a second one in a different color, warm cozy and washes well...I actually wash in my washing machine and hang dry overnight...absolutely love it!!

I liked the way this fit and looked, but it was not warm enough for our cold windy rainy weather in Southeast Alaska. Maybe it would work with an extra layer underneath, or a raincoat on top.

I bought this jacket to wear with my field uniform at the riverkeeper district where I work. It has good bulk, solid construction, and YKK zippers. It looks nice and neatens up my look enough that I dont need to change my crew shirt to be respectably presentable for a meeting. It really helps to cut the wind on the boat and is a great under layer for my coat or rain gear. I agree with another review that it doesnt seem to collect hair/fuzz nearly as much as cheaper fleeces I own.

But I HATE that there is no penpocket as featured on the mens' version; I could really use one. And while I like a little extra room to move and work, I do wish that I could get an XS or a petite, as the small is a bit more on the med size, while I'm not.

If you dont need a pen and usually wear a Medium, this is definitely worth a try.

The jacket is lightweight and warm. It is comfortable to wear over turtleneck and flannel shirt layers. The sizing was true to my size. It allows easy movement. I ordered the black. It doesn't collect hair etc. so it stays looks nice.
