I love wearing these pants because they don't mind the heavy dews in the morning and evening, yet they are cool enough and light for all other parts of the summer day. The bottoms roll up with spiffy snaps, but only to about ankle height. Drops of liquid bead up on the surface of these pants.

                  • Active Work In The Heat

I bought a khaki pair of these because i have to work in a minimally - ACed environment in the summer in TX and cotton jeans are miserably hot and clingy in the heat. They were so comfortable that I bought another pair in Navy heather and quit wearing jeans for the rest of the summer. I can squat, bend, and climb in complete comfort in these pants. I would have bought more, but they are a bit pricey for me.

I bought a 31 inseam in the khaki although i usually wear a 32 in jeans so they'll bunch a little at the ankle. The 31 is OK standing, but a little shorter than i like sitting, so i got 33 inseam for the second pair. 33 is a little long standing, good sitting. A 32 would be nice.

They fit my "apple" shaped body better than most women's pants, but i'd prefer the front rise a little higher; same height as the back. My belt tends to ride up above the front waistband. Also, the front pockets are not anchored to the fly so that they "pooch" on those of us with a little tummy. It would be nice if the front pockets were deeper. I'm willing to let the cosmetic things go since they're covered with an over shirt and no one sees and the pants are so darn comfortable.

The Navy heather color has a kind of an unpleasant fake plastic denim look to it, almost iridescent. In the pictures it looked solid, so beware the heathers. I would love them in a solid light navy. And a light gray.

Despite the minor problems, they are my go-to summer pants.

I'm so disappointed. I love the pant but the legs are 4" too long for me. If I shorten them they lose the rollup feature. Based on other reviews I was looking forward to owning these pants. I hope some day Duluth will offer petite sizes/lengths. I had to return them.

These are one of the best summer pants I have ever owned. I love them and highly recommend them.

They are a bit lighter weight than than the same model in olive green -- which actually worked out fine, because you can wear them in hotter weather and be perfectly comfortable. (Tho I wore my olive green pants all summer too and they were also fine.)

Even better than shorts when kayaking/canoeing/hiking -- no need for sunscreen.

They fit true to size and look good. Plus incredibly comfortable and flexible. Quality construction, they wash perfectly too.

Only one tiny request - I am a size 6 and 34" inseam -- so the 33's are a bit short and the 35's are a bit too long. I'd love to have a 34" inseam.

                          Overall, these pants are great.

These pants and shorts are very comfortable....getting in and out of my vehicle, bending, lifting, etc. The material is smooth and tightly woven so it does not get stuck or snagged as I work. I love the little side pocket...great for a cell phone. The lined waistband feels so nice next to my skin and the added elastic makes for easy twisting and stretching. In the hot weather the material is still comfortable and quick drying. I don't feel sweaty all day as I do with cotton shorts and pants.

I have many quick dry pants in my closet (Columbia, Mtn. Hardware, Royal Robbins, North Face), but the fabric Duluth has used on these pants is thicker, feels better. . .love it!
