I like the pants. They are lightweight but seem strong. I'm not at all sure how to get knee pads that fit the pockets sewn into the pants. Can't find them in a search of your web site.

Have been looking for the past several years for gardening pants. So glad to find these because they are so well made. I especially liked the knee pockets for knee pads as I like to get down in the dirt to plant flowers and pull weeds. Like them so well, I bought two pairs!

I like these utilitarian pants, but they run a little large and long. The length ruins the advantage of a fitted ankle. these pants are good for any activity that requires bending or intense work, but I recommend ordering a size smaller than usual size.

      Almost Perfect

I did not find it difficult to adjust the belt on these pants. It's like adjusting the waist belt on your backpack - no big deal. Loved the feel of the fabric, soft but sturdy. I only gave this 4 stars because of the high cotton content (70%). With only 30% nylon, I'm not sure how long this will hold up to abrasion, plus, they won't be as quick-drying as would a pant that was all nylon. But, that's just my take on past use of cotton pants for gardening. Still a great pair of pants!

I have two old pair of gardening pants I bought many years ago and they are completely worn out- I've been searching for sturdy, comfortable, elastic ankle garden pants for years and my eyes popped out when I saw these- I immediately ordered two pair and they are perfect! I'm 5'9 140 lb and got the small- the waist can be expanded with the belt and once I did that, they fit perfect. You can bend and move in them and although the fabric is very sturdy, it's not stiff or uncomfortable- it feels like a very strong cotton. I may order another pair or two just to wear fishing since I think they'd be great for that too.

                Don't buy 'em!

                By Garden Lady

                from Oregon

                Pros

                  Cons

                  • Belt difficult to adjust
                  • Waist Doesn't Stretch

                  Best Uses

                  • None

Do not buy these pants. The "elastic" waist only stretches 2 inches. You have to loosen the belt (not just unhook it) to even get them on (and its still a struggle). Then the belt is difficult to adjust back to fit your waist. In addition the "cell phone pocket" is on the back of the pant just to the right of the knee. This means when you squat down the cell phone is sandwiched between your upper and lower leg. There is no closure on the pocket so your phone could easily fall out.

IF the pants had a zipper I would keep them. The material is good quality. Sturdy but not stiff and the construction is good. But as they are, for me, they are unusable.

                  I
