          great fitting pants

I have a pretty good collection of Duluth pants, but this is the first time I have bothered to write a review. These pants fit me better than any pants I own from anywhere! I am 5'6", 118 lbs, and the size 4 looks like it was made for me. But more important still, these are very comfortable and highly functional pants. I am a farmer in upstate NY (horses, alpacas, flowers, vegetables, fruit), so I am constantly on the move. Pockets are essential for tools, syringes, phone, etc., etc., and flex and recovery is the most important feature of pants fabric. These cargoes have it all! Keep making these, and in more colors please! And can we have a winter version of this style?

They keep their shape, comfortable and stylish. They said the length is 31" I usually wear a 30" but these were on the verge of being to short:( could have used them just a tad longer!

                        • Too slim

                        Best Uses

I'm 5'0" so the 29" length was great; usually pants are way too long on me. The slim cut fits very nicely. However with the slim cut if you put anything in the pockets you're going to look lumpy as all get out, so if you temporarily need to carry something I can see that, but if you want to load up for the day that might not suit you as well. Showed me that my preference for cargo pants are the baggier type.

                          • CASUAL WEAR

I wore these around the barn and to ride my horses. A bit lighter weight than the original cargos, which I also own. These are WAY cuter looking; I love the slim fit and I'm *not* a skinny jeans kind of gal. I then moved to the city and these are still great for casual wear! Just enough stretch, comfortable, and I love that the cargo pockets aren't big and bulky. These are great paired with the Ariat Billie Boots. I like the fit so much I wish these came in black and denim. How about it, Duluth?

I do a lot of work on our farm clearing brush and stickers. I had bought the regular, not slim fit, fire hose pants last year and although they're tough and comfortable there was jeu too much fabric in the leg and seat. These slim fit versions are perfect, no baggy legs or butt, very comfortable fabric, and good amount of pockets for tools and phones. I will definitely buy more! I'm 5'6" 120 lb. and wear the size 4.

the cut through the hips and thighs are perfect, but the waist is cut more like men's jeans. it does not curve in, leaving a large gap in the back which sticks way out, or if worn with a belt it bunches up uncomfortably. I don't want to return them because I have a hard enough time finding pants/jeans that fit. I'm just going to have darts sewn into the waist in the back.

At first, these look like just workhorse, utilitarian pants. They are so much more! They are a slim fit, extremely flattering and *incredibly* comfortable pants -- I initially bought them for weekend chores -- gardening, going to the dog park. I predict these will be my go-to winter pants. They can be tucked into nice boots and dressed up with a jacket and scarf for an informal weekend dinner or brunch.

My only criticism? They need more colors!
