I had foot surgery recently and was concerned that I wouldn't be able to get my bandaged and swollen foot into any of my other pants. Because the legs on these pants adjust with bungees at the ankles, I was able to get the pants easily over my foot. I wear them several times a week, given our cold, snowy weather here in northern Michigan. Even though I often get cold legs, fingers, and toes, my legs stay toasty warm in these comfy pants.

Love the fabric and the warmth but.....

    By Cindy the fencer

    from Everett WA

    Verified Buyer

    Pros

    • Fit is good
    • Great fabric
    • Like The Pull Tight Cuffs
    • Nice and warm

    Cons

    • Droid Phone Wont Fit
    • Pockets are too shallow

    Best Uses

    • Being out in the cold

This product would have gotten a 5 plus rating if the pockets had been deeper. I put the pants on and was really excited about the comfort, the softness, the fit....until I tried to put my hands in the pockets. Perhaps the designer thought that women carry a purse or a bag when they are out fixing a fence line or working a horse and don't need fully functional pockets. My droid phone will not fit in any of the front or side pockets and barely fits in the back pocket, the pocket flap does not cover the phone. When I sit in the truck things in the pockets fall out into the seat. I would recommend to a friend if they don't need pockets.

I gave a pair of these pants to my son's girlfriend, she has an early morning (1:00 am) paper route and she was freezing so I bought the pants for a Christmas present, and she loved them, I had bought pants and buck necked underware for my son and he was always going on how great Duluth's products are, she said now I know what he is talking about and I will never say anything against Duluth again. When she thanked me from them she said I love them, I love them, I didn't know something could be so nice. Since then I got her another pair in a different color, she was thrilled.

Bought these pants with the intent to stay warm when blowing out the snow in the driveway. They did not fail me, in fact they exceeded my expectations. Started to experience frost bite in my fingers, by my legs were warm.

These pants are very versatile, can be worn for chores as well as to town for shopping. Very comfortable. Only problem is there are no more available in my size. More color options would be nice if you choose to bring them back.

Warm and Cozy, but fit funny

By Middle-aged mother, in pretty fair shape

          from Burien, WA

          Pros

          • Quality fleece
          • Soft-feeling Outside
          • Waistband Doesn't Gap
          • Warm

          Cons

          • Short On Tall Person
          • Tight Knees When Bent
          • Too much fabric in front

          Best Uses

          • In Out And Around Town

Really like the soft outer feel, and wonderful cozy fleece. Don't like the extra fabric across front, from outer thigh across lower abdomen, to other side outer thigh. When standing/walking, feels like too much fabric in center crotch, like wearing a diaper or something. If the extra fabric was up higher, to go over my small hips and big belly, it might be better. A little short for my 5' 7 3/4" long legs. Will be okay if they don't shrink. These are size XL. In jeans, I wear a 38/32, men's-like jeans, for flat rearend and a belly. When knees are bent, they feel tight across kneecap. I will keep them because they feel so darn good and cozy, but may have to alter them a little for comfort.

            Almost perfect

            By DogMom

            from Cape Cod

            Verified Buyer

            Pros

            • Soft
            • Warm Tough And Comfy

            Cons

            • Too Long

            Best Uses

I read reviews before buying. Reviewed as being tight on hips getting on and for me they are, a bit but it's doable if you release the belt first. Don't think I'd want more fabric to cinch up so it's fine. Also saw they were long but 31" didn't seem too bad. But they ARE really long and while you can cinch the bottom and make them wearable they do look a bit odd. Nevertheless, I'm a comfort over style gal and otherwise they are the best fit lined tough pants I've ever seen (and INCREDIBLY warm, cozy and comfy) so I purchased a second pair and ignore the extra length. I DO wish they'd consider a petite, or at least an alternate inseam like they do on some of their jeans. I'd order dozens.
