I bought these boots for fall and early winter use with medium weight wool sox and they are perfect. I have problems with Morton's neuroma in my left foot and they are great. The slightly wide toe box does the trick. They are well padded and so comfortable. Have only worn them once and after many hours of shopping and walking on concrete I had no pain and was comfortable. I suspect the crepe type sole isn't the ticket for icey conditions and they can't be resoled but I'd buy them again in a heartbeat.

Complained about sole separating from toe of boot. I sent back to company & they replaced with another pair. Now less than a year later after storing for the Summer months, I discovered that the soles are coming off both boots the full lenght of boots..

Quality control is very bad.

I have searched everywhere for a classic shoe that is both stylish and functional. These fit amazing, don't hurt my back or feet, which I often have problems with. The only problem is they wear out too quickly and can't be resoled.

so far I have worn these boots for casual wear they were stiff at 1st but are softning up as I wear them, I am sure in no time they will fit like a glove. Nice product

My husband ordered these shoes for me as a gamble and as a surprise, because I loved them in the catalogue, but despaired because they're not offered in wide (which I wear). He won the gamble and what a pleasant surprise! The shoes have a generous toe box, so the width was perfect for my wide foot. They also are very sturdy, yet supple, and the footbed support allows me to walk in them all day, despite my plantar faceitis (heel pain). Best of all, when my son came home from college, I got his seal of approval, because, unbeknownst to me, I evidently am riding some foot fashion craze that brings back the desert boot style of the '70s. What's not to love!?
