I ordered the smartwool marguerita socks last winter-loved them instantly! not scratchy, very warm without being bulky, perfect for wearing with boots, and attractive,too! BUT...after 10 or 12 wears, the heels were worn right through. I thought maybe my 2 pairs were defective, got another 2 pairs, and they wore out just as quickly. was so disappointed - really loved them while they lasted.

I love colorful socks! These are colorful but classy. Not too gawdy. They are nice and thick in the foot, but a little tight in the calf. I have larger calves though, so they would probably fit a slimmer calf well, without falling down. They are a little expensive, but are the same price or higher on other websites I've seen them on.

I have been looking for warm socks that are not super thick and don't look like hunting gear. These socks are not only pretty but warm. I gave both my adult girls a pair and they commented on how they were "great socks, love them". Plus there was a discount for buying 3. :)

I wear these socks all the time! They are very comfortable and warm. I wear knee-high socks everyday in the winter. They are pricey, but if they wear well, it will be worth it.
