I own one of these shirts in the original, looser-fitting design. When I needed 2 more for an upcoming Africa trip, I ordered the same size.

Mistake. The new darts take away fabric I need to accommodate a large bust and a few extra pounds around my middle. The fabric does not stretch much, so the look is unforgiving.

If you're (pardon me, Duluth) a real woman who is NOT built like an athlete, order a size up and cross your fingers.

Still the same good fabric, and even more nice colors.

Mistake.

I have a large bust and a few extra pounds around the middle. The new design is so trim-fitting that it looks very unflattering on me. Since the fabric does not stretch, the cut is totally unforgiving.

Going to re-order in an XL, because I love Duluth's quality and the color selections, but I won't be surprised if I end up sending that back, too. My body type no longer fits the profile. Disappointing from a company that makes clothing for "real women."

I did read the reviews on this shirt and ordered up. I have broad shoulders, and am well endowed so I ordered a large. The large was not as flattering as it would have been in a medium but I had enough room for shoulders and easy movement. I f you are ordering for real life work wear or possible layering, as I often do, go up otherwise, unless you are hefty about the midsection, I do not think it is necessary. As for gaps, well those always happen, I figure that is why safety pins were invented.

The material is even better than the early versions of this shirt offered by Duluth a few years ago. I paid twenty dollars more for a several name brand adventure sun Shirts (and they were on sale)' and I am going to stick with these. Took them on a road trip. No ironing, wrinkles drop out if you just wear them a bit, they dry in a flash and the colors are far more attractive than the pictures suggest. Wonderful sun, work, and travel shirts for pragmatists who really work outside and refuse to travel with checked luggage. The sleeve tabs are vastly improved and I really used them a lot. Good work, Duluth.

I checked the reviews about this shirt, before I made my purchase. I was attracted to this shirt because of the style, selection of colors and roll up sleeves. I'm not into 'snap buttons shirts' and was somewhat leery about that and I thought the shirt was a little pricey. One review I read said that the shirt was not true to size and you would need to go up one size. Another stated the snap buttons would not stay closed. Per Duluth's size chart, I would wear a size M. I decide to purchase the shirt after several months of looking at it on line. I ordered a size up (L). Wrong! The shirt was too big, but I loved how comfy it was. I immediately reorder my correct size M. The shirt fit perfect,I loved the color and the snap buttons hold tight and the shirt does not gap open. The shirt is made very well, so I felt better about the price. I will be packing this shirt for our cruise vacation in the winter. I would purchase another and may before our trip.

I like the snaps. All around nice shirt and versatile. It would be nicer if it was made in the USA and would be willing to pay more to increase jobs here.

The cut probably fits women between 5'5" and 5'8" just fine. On my under 5 foot tall frame the waist was too long and the hip flared out well bellow my hips. Maybe if the shirts came in petite they would have worked out.

I bought this shirt because I would be traveling across Kansas in July on the back of a motorcycle. I have PMLE (poly-morphus light eruption) otherwise known as sun allergy and hoped this product would protect me from the sun. It was 110 degrees in Dodge City, Kansas and with this shirt my arms, neck, and chest were not burned. I can't say the same for the tops of my thighs through my Asset Management jeans however! The shirt worked perfectly, my only complaint is I didn't buy two for the trip. However, it quickly dried after hand washing and was ready for the next day.
