I've been wearing SmartWool socks for over 14 years on a daily basis on my farm AND for work in a busy ER, so they get a lot of use, abuse, and washing. Yet, they last and last. These things are TOUGH, yet cushy and comfortable. Being sensitive to wool, I was skeptical when given my first pair but was an instant covert after the first day's use. The stripes are a new offering, and I hope more colors and patterns become available.

I wear smart wool socks everyday to work and to play. I spend an inordinate amount of time on my feet and have to take good care of them, that's why I wear smart wool socks. they keep my feet warm and dry if I am snowshhoeing, or skiing or if I am hiking in the summer. awesome.love them

I love the smart socks I got for Christmas!!! They are so comfortable and warm! Pretty too! Come in all kinds of colors, designs, sizes, and thicknesses. I only have two pairs right now but will most definetely buy more! The only con to these socks is the price but I guess you get what you pay for. I wanted mine mostly for work because I'm a school bus driver and my feet get cold. Love them for work and walking the dogs but wear them every where!! Try them, you won't be sorry!!!
Because I tend to feel chilled a lot, I wear these when the temperature starts staying below 50 and so far they are toasty. Not too hot at all.

the socks came just in time, we rarely have a White Christmas in Oklahoma, but this year we had 6 to 8 inches, my socks have kept my feet dry and warm while taking care of the farm animals.
