I bought this as a holiday gift for my husband. He is always working on the car or building some new "invention" in the basement. He is very ruff with his tools and it's hard to find items that stand up to his needs. He needed a wrench/tool bag that was heavy duty and not "cheaply" made. His last few were poorly made and ripped apart. He loves this one! It is sturdy with a heavy canvas, leather cover, strong seams and the tools stay in the pockets and do not slide out. The snap-able pockets at the top keep his various bits and sockets in place and the eyelets make for easy hanging when he is done. For any wife looking for a good gift for the man in your life (or for yourself!) the Tool Roll is perfect and well-made.

I'm using this to store 8 spokeshaves, various spare blades and shims with lots of smaller storage areas still available. The tools are well spaced and covered, will not slide out when carried and protected well enough if dropped. This roll should be ideal for most any tool of this size.

I love the sturdiness of this tool roll. It's a great combination of leather and fire hose canvas. It is just a little awkward rolling it up when it's full. I guess it depends on what you carry in it. It has tons of pocket holders and the temptation is to fill them all. This may not even be a problem if you had it full of all different kinds of screwdrivers or wrenches. I have wire cutters and pliers and some other misc. stuff in the little storage pockets on the top. This meant that I had to shift and move things... trial and error...to see what would work best and still be able to roll it up. I have not owned a tool roll, so I'm sure that is something to consider whatever kind you own. This one is tough as nails. Nothing falls out. The ties are big enough even with the thing stuffed it will still tie shut. I think it's great.

I brought this with me on a long motorcycle trip with a less than 100% rock solid bike. It kept a huge bunch of tools organized and at hand in a compact roll. The roll can hold so many tools and bits and pieces as to become heavy and unwieldy, but that comes down to putting thought into what you really need. Now I have it stuffed to the gills for use around the house, and it's a pleasure to spread it out next to any job and have everything I need right where I want it.

This roll is perfect for how it is advertised. I actually use it for drill bits, nutdrivers, ect. you can stitch the pockets differently to fit a tool or something specefic to hold tighter. Works way better than any plastic case. Roll it up and keep it in a bag with my cordless drills. Only down side is that you can easily dump all the contents if you don't store it correctly (there is an upside-down) or if it's not tied down tightly. This roll is standard issue for every cordless tool bag in all my trucks

I did a bit of research before I settled on this tool roll and I like what I got. I needed something for the Harley and didn't quite like anything else out there. Didn't want velcro or buckles, just a simple tie down that's easy to get open when you're cold, wet and/or ticked off (the censors wouldn't let me say pi**ed off). I've stuffed it with everything I could think of for long rides into the Sierras and it isn't slim by any means but it's all there and looks pretty cool anyway. If you need more than what I have in there you should maybe look into a new bike. Seems to be of a quality that I'm coming to expect from DTC. I admit I'm a fairly recent buyer from these guys but I'm rapidly becoming a convert.
