Very good with the ultimate work pants, only thing is small tool bag has limited uses... should be deeper. Everything else is perfect!

          Ultimate firehose accessories

When I purchased the Ultimate firehose work pants, I thought these accessories would be a natural extention of the "wearable toolbox" idea. Well, The large pouch and the hammer loop work well enough but, the little pouch (supposedly for small tools) loses tools as fast as you can put them in and the belt is too lightweight and flimsy to be of any real use on the job. It's a shame the accessories are not of the same quality and utility as the pants. The large pouch may offer enough value that I may not return the set. The jury is still out.

First day I brought these pouches to work they paid for themselves twice over. I had to lug tools and supplies 1000 yards from truck to work site. I loaded the pouches up on my "Ultimate" velcro keepers and used the belt as a bandolier to carry some other bags and large parts. I "muled" everything in on one trip (instead of four) and got to work. GET THESE POUCHES, especially when you purchase the ultimate pants.

Bought this for Disaster Service work where we don't need a full size bulky tool belt. Really like how the bags sit when attached to the velcro loops of the DT FireHose work pants. Typically, when connected to a work belt, the bags tilt forward a bit when sitting on a scaffolding or bench and may cause things to tip out. By using this with the velcro tabs of the work pants, it hangs a bit more comfortably

A simple clasp buckle belt comes with this and I am not sure if a click lock style buckle would work better, but the belt (if used with the bags connected without the velcro tabbed work pants) does work well as a light/medium duty belt

I love this kit. I hate to go back to the house or down to the barn for the tools I need, so I like to carry my tools around the ranch with me. But once they get set on the ground they get lost pretty quick! This kit keeps all the tools on the belt, and if you have the cargo pants, more tools can be tucked into the pockets. It's terrific. The knee pads slip right into the pockets, too, and so any on-the-ground tasks are no problem -- no more sore knees.

I like the option of using the pouches without the belt.

Knee pads are a better fit than the ones I paid $60 for, don't slip, and not too bulky.

The knee pads are more comfortable than slip on or strapped pads. I wish the hammer loop was a part of the cargo pants, but the pockets are just right for projects around the house.
