Versative block sander

Pros

  • Easy Belt Change
  • Solidly build

Cons

    Best Uses

Any woodworker knows that a sanding block gives you more even sanding than simply holding a strip of sandpaper in your hand. The problem with most sanding blocks is that they wear quickly along the leading edges, and changing the sandpaper is often a bit of a chore--trying to set clamps while getting good tension so the sandpaper doesn't "bunch" and sand unevenly.
This sanding block is solidly build, it's very easy to change sanding belts, and--because it uses belts instead of sheets--you can rotate the belt when one section wears down. The block is also designed with several different angles so it can sand oddly shaped surfaces.

      Simple, efficient... improved outcomes

I do finish carpentry and custom cabinetry. The SandDevil is always available to improve the quality of my fit or finish surface... no power cords or batteries The ability to use belts (last much longer) and ease of belt changing make this my preferred sanding tool. I have much better control of the tool on any surface (flat or curved) and rarely use my electric sanders. I have 3 SandDevil's in my shop with different grit belts. Definitely one of my favorite tools in my arsenal.
