Makes small kindling easier and safer

By Bedminster woodburner

from Bedminster Twp., PA

Verified Buyer

Pros

  • Fast
  • Handy
  • Lightweight

Cons

    Best Uses

I like using this for making small kindling without worrying about hitting my fingers with a hatchet when working with smaller pieces. It doesn't take the place of a hatchet, but it's handy in conjunction, especially if you're working on a decent sized pile of wood.

The right tool for the job!!!

        By Les

        from Methuen, MA

When I saw this in the catalog, I was unsure how this tool would really work, but I needed to split alot of apple wood to use in my smoker, so I thought why not try it! I've used it a couple of times and I have to say it works great!!!! It makes splitting wood fast and safer than using a hatchet. The only thing that could make this tool any better, would be to make one a little bigger.
